Google Analytics Training in Washington DC, October 19th

Posted at October 12, 2009 | By : | Categories : Google Analytics | Comments

Have you ever wanted to learn more about Google Analytics?  Just how do all the “moving parts” fit together and work?  What are the best techniques for using the reporting interface?  How can you measure and optimize all your marketing campaigns using Google Analytics, not just AdWords?  Well, here’s your chance!

UPDATE: See below for an exclusive discount code!

On October 19th I’ll be leading a Google Analytics training day in Washington DC at the eMetrics Marketing Optimization Summit.  This one-day intensive will immerse you in the world of Google Analytics.  I’ll be covering the platform from top to bottom.  We’ll discuss the technical side of how the ga.js JavaScript and cookies work, how to setup and configure Google Analytics for optimal performance, how to use the basic and advanced features of the interface, and how to track your marketing efforts back to value measures (engagement, leads, sales, etc…).

One of my favorite parts of this training day is meeting each of the attendees and starting out with a quick “what do you want to know” discussion.  I do this because I want each attendee to walk away from the day with new general knowledge, but also having learned things specific to their questions.  It also gets the room introduced to each other and shows the breadth of diversity in ways Google Analytics can be used.

I hope you can attend!  The cost is $495 and you can register for the GA training day here – and while you’re there, check out the eMetrics summit too!  I highly recommend attending the whole week if you can.

UPDATE: Use the discount code “AP15″ for a 15% discount on the GA Training Day AND the full eMetrics Summit pass!
